Birthday Bonanza

For my 28th birthday I decided I wanted to go on a holiday where I could see as many animals as I could for as little money as possible (just bought a 90 so needed it to be cheap.)

Booked a 3 night 4 day holiday to Fuengirola in Spain, a lovely place that I've been to before; with a bio-park, lots of lovely restaurants and a beautiful beach with lots of fish in the bay.

My first day I went to the bio-park to visit all the animals as I remember the last time I went I loved it. Land animals, but with small rivers and streams with sturgeon, freshwater rays and other fish (im into my tropical fish) I was in my element.

Day number 2 I had a trip booked to Gibraltar because I wanted to see the apes on the rock and I wasn't disappointed! First we went to the main city centre where I went for my breakfast dinner with the added cocktail, it was delicious! Then we proceded to drive around the island and up to the rock of Gibraltar, passing the light house and up to ST Michael's mount, where we visited the beautiful light up caves!

Next we headed up the rock to see all of cheeky little moneys running around. One of them even jumped on my head .. picture to follow and another pulled my hair and ran off. I could not have been more in my element if i'd tried.

Day 3 I decided to go to the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos which is always really cool to see. I don't know quite how I feel about it but they let me hold a 2 year old croc (picture below) and also did an enlightening talk about the crocs in the park and how they eat & mate. It's always very interesting.

I also decided to go to the sealife centre in benalmadena after the croc pack as I wanted to see the fish and always hope there's an octopus, which there was and he was beautiful!

I had the best trip to Spain and Gibraltar, would 100% reccomend and would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming, plus it's super cheap and stays nice and warm all year round!
